Handsome Gaven

Friday, at Mother's day Out Gaven had the big Easter egg hunt, Easter party and Picture day. He looked so handsome I had to take a few pictures. After he got fressed he looked inthe mirror and said I look like I am ready for big work, he thought he looked like his daddy. SOOO Cute!!!

Power Ranger to the Rescue

I was doing dishes when Madeline started babbling a little louder than usual and when I turned around this is waht I saw. After the initial shock amd confusion I started laughing and asked Gaven what he was doing and he said the baby is in trouble and the Red Power Ranger Jungle Fury is coming to rescue her. What a hero.

Houston Zoo

Back in February Jill and I took the 4 kiddos to the Zoo and had a great time. It was a beautiful day and there was about 15 people at the entire Zoo I guess because it was a Tuesday. I took about 100 pictures but I will try to narrow it down. Here are a few of our great day.

Playing Catch Up....Where to begin?

February was a great month......

Gaven:
Gaven started T-ball and is doing great. It has been freezing for all of the practices so they have been cut a little short but I don't think anyone minds. I bought him a book about addition and he has become obsessed with adding everything he sees. While I was driving he said Momma, I know what 2000 plus 2000 is and I said oh ya what?... and he said 4000. He is 4. Crazy smart! He also has really picked up on reading. He has been able to read and spell small words for about 2 years but now he really getting good. Just for fun...the first word he could spell was S-T-O-P, he wasn't even 2.

Madeline:
Beautiful Madeline. She says Momma & Dada. Bot Bot for bottle. GaGa when she sees Gaven. She also say num num when she is hungry. Even though she still army crawls she can fly across the floor. I caught her trying to pull up in my room to see Gaven on my bed, and NO I did not interfere, I stood there cheering like a good Mommy. She detest baby food and will only eat regular table food. She sings with me whenever I sing the ABC's, her favorite song. She loves to eat with a fork and spoon by herself. And is a pro with a sippy cup. I am sure there is so much more but it is hard to concentrate with her tugging at my pant leg and running over my toes.

The house:
The house is really coming along. We poured the drive way and side walk. Finished most of the trim and cabinets (few doors missing here and there). The house is painted inside and out.

Gaven went upstairs to get dressed to go on a 4 wheeler ride with daddy. A little later Jeremy went upstairs to see what was taking him so long. He came down and with a smile said, "you never know what you are going to walk in on" and handed me the camera and said to go upstairs. He was right. When I walked around the corner I saw Gaven on the batheroom counter,butt naked, washing his hair in the sink with shaving cream soap. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "making my hair cool". I helped him get the rest of the shaving cream out of his hair and ears and he looked at himself in the mirror and said..."oh yeah, that's what I'm talkin about!!". Having a boy is the funniest thing I have ever done.

2 teeth + 2 chubby cheeks= ADORABLE!
