Happy Father's Day!

On Father's Day we went to Uncle Curtis and Aunt Cindy's house. Gaven was so excited to go we were able to use it as leverage for a week. Katie took Gaven swimming all day while we went over the new house plans. He loved playing in the pool with Katie, she entertained him for hours. We were able to coax Gaven out of the pool with a tractor ride with Uncle Curtis.
Cindy held Madeline all day. I think Madeline was excited to be there as well, she was awake for most of the visit. We can't wait to come back and visit soon.

Thank you for the great day!!

A Play Day

Playing dress up is a regular activity for us now. Gaven's imagination is growing more and more everyday. He makes us laugh with the things he comes up with.

Gaven and Poppy

Kayla and Sean

We went to Kingwood last weekend to visit Mimi, Poppy, Kayla and Sean. Gaven had a blast. He held his breath and went under water a few times. He was very excited when he figured out he could touch the floor of the pool and walk around. Now he is geared up for swim lessons on June 24th.

Brother and Sister

I was looking through Gaven's baby book with him and came across this picture. I couldn't believe how much they looked alike. They are definitely brother and sister. Here they are at one month old.

One Month Shot!

Madeline turned one month old and celebrated with a shot....but not the fun kind. She was very brave only crying for a second. She is 10 lbs. 5 oz., still 1 lbs behind her brother.

Madeline Belle

My sweet baby girl is 4 weeks old today.

NO CAVITIES!

First Visit to the Dentist!

Gaven went to see this dentist yesterday. He was so excited to show the dentist his beautiful teeth. The dental hygenist gave him cool sunglasses to wear because of the bright light. He loved getting the pictures taken of his teeth (x-rays) and kissing the water sucker.

Sweet brother and sister

Gaven has been asking to hold his sister a lot more now even though it is only for about 30 seconds. He has been a wonderful brother. Some days the he gets very frustrated having to wait for attention but overall he has been very understanding for a 3 year old.

Homerun Hitter!

Jeremy bought Gaven his first batters helmet. He has been wearing it non-stop. Playing baseball is a daily thing in the house now. Just in time for the summer heat! I really love being hot while chasing and dodging wild pitches, so much fun. When is it going to rain?

How do you sum up a year?

I can't believe how fast this year has flown by, so much has happened since my last post. Here is my attempt to catch up my blog.

Here is the highlights of our year:
I got a job, we got pregnant, Gaven had a 3rd birthday blow out, Jeremy got another job, Gaven started pre-school, Gaven got sick, I got sick, Jeremy got sick and then repeat 6 times, we celebrated all of the holidays (overboard of course), found out we are having a baby girl, Jeremy quit the extra job, we decided to build a house, had a few baby showers, went on maternity leave, went back to work, went on maternity leave again, and on May 1st welcomed the beautiful Madeline Belle to our family.

That should sum it up. Here are a few pictures from the year.
